Guests were treated to presentations from Resurgo Ventures’ biggest cohort to date; seven start-up social enterprises all wanting to make a positive impact on people and the planet. Each start-up presented their vision for tackling issues including online addiction, waste, supply chain exploitation and fast fashion.
The 200-strong guests gathered in the room were also treated to tasty treats from Ben and Jerry’s and Vogue-featured Luminary Bakery.
The event also launched Resurgo Ventures’ inaugural Ethical Christmas Gift Guide, featuring alternative gift ideas to encourage ethical gift choices this Christmas. Each gift featured comes from a venture that has participated in the Resurgo Ventures Accelerator Programme, meaning any purchase not only has an ethical impact, but supports the venture in their wider social mission.
