Iona Ledwidge is CEO of Resurgo, a charity focused on empowering the next generation to reach their potential and make a difference in society. Iona oversees the strategic direction of the organisation including the award-winning Spear Programme, focused on coaching young unemployed people into sustainable employment.

Iona is a highly experienced Coach. Having trained with the Academy of Executive Coaching, she went on to achieve her Master Certified Coach Credential in 2018, and was the youngest individual in the UK to hold this certification.

Iona values the importance of understanding people’s individual journeys and the power of story; these have played out not only in her coaching experience, but in her first-class degree in English Literature & Language and the early years of her career working as an actor. Iona is also a trained counsellor, which enables her to bring a holistic and empathic approach to leadership development. Outside of work, she’s a keen runner, a foodie, and an avid reader, as well as a founding member of Kings Cross Church.
