Resurgo is celebrating working alongside Impetus for 14 years as we graduate from their portfolio. Impetus named Resurgo’s ‘Gold evidence of impact’ as part of the announcement.
The last 14 years have been integral to Resurgo’s growth, as we have developed our impact management approach and grown the reach of the Spear Programme from single figures to 1000 young people per year. Impetus’ support came in the form of financial grants, pro bono consultancy and capacity building, as well as introducing us to major donors.
Resurgo’s partnership with Impetus has been a huge factor in getting the charity to where it is today.
Impetus’ commitment to changing the lives of children and young people so that everyone can achieve their potential despite their background has had a huge impact on the sector – we look forward to the wider impact over the next 14 years.
Resurgo’s CEO, Iona Ledwidge, said, “It is difficult to overstate the impact that Resurgo’s partnership with Impetus has had, not only on the charity, but also on the lives of the young people we work with. Impetus played a key role in initiating our first ever ‘theory of change’ workshop and in developing our impact management approach – ultimately helping us reach young people who are furthest from employment with an intervention that is most likely to make a difference to their future. During our partnership, The Spear Programme has expanded from one local centre to a national reach, and we extremely grateful for Impetus’ contribution. Their support, friendship and challenge has been a highlight for all of us at Resurgo and we are thrilled to be part of the alumni.”
