Resurgo announces the appointment of two new trustees

Resurgo is delighted to announce the appointment of two new trustees to the board.

Resurgo is delighted to appoint Egerton (Junior) Bayode and Gabriella Bossman to the Board of Trustees. Both Junior and Gabriella bring expertise from their respective industries, as well as valuable perspectives from their backgrounds. They, along with the rest of the Board, will play a key role in supporting the charity’s aim to empower others to transform society.

Egerton (Junior) Bayode works for financial tech company, NASDAQ, where he is responsible for a global precious metals trading platform and data product. He also leads NASDAQ’s UK Global Link of Black Employees (GLOBE) network, an employee diversity network that aims to promote understanding and awareness of black culture, encouraging membership from all backgrounds to foster greater appreciation and a more inclusive working environment. Junior is also the first former Spear Programme trainee to join Resurgo’s trustees, having also spent time coaching and serving on the board at Spear Bethnal Green.

Gabriella Bossman is a Project Delivery Advisor in the Cabinet Office with focus areas including change and transformation programmes placing people and authentic relationships at the centre. Gabriella has both delivered and advised the delivery of programmes in the third, public and private sectors respectively and is driven by seeing people and programmes, especially those with evident potential and planned benefits to society, achieving their goals and potential.

Jo Rice, CEO of Resurgo, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Junior and Gabriella to join our Board of Trustees. We have been hoping to include a former Spear Programme Trainee on the board for a long time and are thrilled that Junior has agreed to join us.  Similarly, though our board has always carried a wealth of experience, we have lacked public sector expertise and Gabriella will be invaluable in bringing insight to that space.  I am grateful for their willingness to share their time and wealth of expertise with us in this way.”
